The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in similar works, with specific details to be provided. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the value mentioned in the contract. The bidder should have at least 5 years of experience in similar works, including details of earthwork, Granular sub-base/base, RE Walls, Concrete in bridges, and other relevant works. For key personnel, the required experience includes: - Project/Work Manager: BE (Civil) with at least 2 years of experience - Site Engineer: BE (Civil) or Diploma (Civil) with at least 2 years of experience - Plant Engineer: B.E. (Mech.) or Dip. (Mech.) with at least 2 years of experience - Quality Control Engineer: B.E. (Civil) or Dip. (Civil) The bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. For works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The values of works can be updated to current price levels by enhancing the value of executed works at a given rate, such as 8% per annum. The bidder's available bid capacity is calculated as (A* N* 2 - B), where A is the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the project, and B is the value of existing commitments. The assessed available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project/work. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation.
