Transmission Line Simulation Unit Transmission Line Simulation Unit is used to simulate a power transmission line and study the protection schemes under various fault conditions & it should be in a single unit with multiple sections. It is provided with various R-L-C loads for transmission line. The transmission line can be loaded upto 75% of load regulation & 85° of lag power factor. Line parameter can also be varied through switches. Protection relays like impedance relay and over current + earth fault relay is also provided.
