Works Department Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering works. For tenders with a value of up to Rs. 5.00 crores, there are no specific qualifying criteria related to prior work experience, except for having a valid registration certificate and other documents. However, for tenders with a value of more than Rs. 5.00 crores, the bidder should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost put to tender during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. The value of work executed should be updated to the current price level using the escalation factors provided. The bidder should also have a financial turnover in respect of civil engineering works of not less than the amount put to tender during any 3 financial years taken together of the last preceding five financial years. All financial figures should be excluding GST. The bidder should furnish a scanned copy of an experience certificate issued by the Engineer-in-Charge, not below the rank of Executive Engineer, in Schedule – D1, but specific details on the value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as 75% of the estimated cost for tenders above Rs. 5.00 crores.
