Clearing shrub jungles, uprooting stumps & small bushes and trees below 1m height and disposing of the debris clear of work site with supply of all equipments, tools & plants, labour etc., required for the work including supervision charges and all taxes, labour cess, incidental charges etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow areas by mechanical means including stripping of borrow area and clearing of all trees, stumps, roots, bushes, rubbish, humus and other objectionable materials in the designated borrow area for bringing earth as required for the work including cost of construction and maintenance of haul roads and approach roads from the borrow area to work site including watering if required in borrow area loading and transporting the excavated materials by mechanical means within all leads and lifts and laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface in filling reaches and leveling the earth in 22.5cm layer by manual labour or by mechanical means including rehandling the soil if required (to make the fill ready for watering and compaction) to proper shape & size with all lifts, delifts and cost of all materials, all taxes on materials, labour cess including the cost of mobilisation and demobilisation, supplying all machineries including cost of operation maintenance of all equipments and labour required for the work inclusive of supervision charges complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge (payment will be made on finished design section, contractor has to arrange borrow earth with all leads and lifts at his own cost & royalty of earth will be deducted).

Fine dressing and turfing the canal embankment, slopes with approved quality of compacted dub grass including collection and supplying the same from approved site including loading, unloading, conveyance charges, royalty and all other taxes, labour cess with all leads, lifts & delifts and specification including cost of mobilization, demobilization, supplying all machineries, equipments, materials. and labour required for the work supervision charges, labour cess including cost of watering and making arrangements till survival of grass to its full growth with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge (payment will be made only after survival of the turf.)
