Clearing of grass and removal of rubbish outside the periphery of area on premeasurement with all leads, lifts and delifts with cost of all labour, cess etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of approved soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including loading into the transportation vehicles and unloading from transported vehicles and depositing the same on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm. ,laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm including removal of roots, shrub jungles, bushes and all foreign debries from the earth and benching the old embankment, sectioning, cambering the earth work, watering and compaction with all types of compacts equipments under OMC conditions to attain minimum proctor dry density of 95.00% for all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control test including construction, maintenance, watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads and borrow area including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries and all incidental charges required for the completion of work, complete in all respect including cost of royalty with labour cess as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement shall be taken on finished compacted section .Borrow area is to be arranged by the agency at his cost and responsibility)

Construction of granular sub-base by providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 200 mm thickness with IRC grade - III materials as per table-401-I to WBM specification including spreading in uniform layers with moter grader on prepared surface mixing by mix place method with rotavater, rolling with VRR in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming using stone screened dust as binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates , watering and compacting to the required density at OMC as per clause 401 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess etc. including labours and hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, hire and running charges of machineries etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
