Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm & removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material away from the work site including hire and running charges of all the machineries, T&P, cost of labour, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading into transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profile with all leads, lifts, delifts including rough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5cm to 7cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrises, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm in depth including watering, construction and maintenance of haul road, cost of hire & running charges of all machineries, T&P, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Measurement will be taken on finished compacted level section only and earth to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and responsibility)

Ordinary compaction of Earth work by PRR including cost of hire & running charges of PRR, cess, and all taxes as applicable etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
