The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a total number of years of experience in construction work and executing similar works during the last 5 years. The bidder should provide details of these similar works, including the name of the work, location, agreement number, contract price, and total value of work executed. The bidder should have successfully completed and commissioned works in Govt./PSU sectors of similar type (Sewerage Network System) valuing not less than 30% of the estimated cost in any one financial year during the last 5 years. Additionally, the bidder should have annual financial turnover of not less than 40% of the estimated cost in any one year in civil Construction Works during the last 5 years. The bidder is also required to provide information on their existing commitments and ongoing works, including the approximate value of these works, and submit a bid capacity calculation sheet. The value of completed works can be calculated by considering the value of multiple contracts executed in a financial year, and completion certificates given by the authorities for any one financial year. In case the value of works executed in any one financial year is not available in the certificates, the same shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis. The bidder should also have available bid capacity, which is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, B is the value of current price level of the existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next years, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited. The escalation factor for calculating the costs of works executed and financial figures is 10% per year, compounded annually. The bidder needs to submit a work experience certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer and provide a Schedule D - Work experience.
