The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil construction work, specifically in similar nature of works. They need to provide information on similar works executed during the last 5 years, including project-wise details such as project title, nature of the project, name of the employer, location, project cost, contract/agreement number, category of work, year-wise payments received, date of commencement and completion of the project, and completion/experience certificate of each project. The value of similar nature of works undertaken during the last 5 years should be provided in a table with the year and the value of similar nature of works undertaken in that year. The bidder should have completed similar nature of works of value not less than 30% of the estimated value of the bid. The exact amount and percentage of similar works completed should be calculated based on the estimated value of the bid and the value of similar works completed by the bidder. The bidder should have successfully completed similar nature of works in any one financial year during the last five financial years of value not less than the amount equal to 30% of the estimated value of bid for which bids are invited. The maximum value of projects that have been undertaken during the financial year and value thereof should be updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix using the Updation Factor. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide certification from the employer, not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent, to support their claim of prior work experience. A Solvency Certificate from the bank is also required, which should be for a minimum of 30% of the tender value. The Assessed Available Bid capacity will be calculated as under: Assessed Available Bid capacity = (A x N x 2 - B) Where A = Maximum value of works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years (updated to bid invitation year price level) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited. B = Value (updated to the price level of the year indicated in Appendix) of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next year(s) [period of completion of the works for which bids are invited]. The amount is 30% of the estimated value of the bid, and the percentage is also 30%.
