The bidder should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost, put to tender during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. For Road portion of the work, the intending tenderer(s) should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% (Road Works) of the estimated cost. For Bridge portion of the work, the intending tenderer(s) should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% (Bridge Works) of the estimated cost. The bidder should also have a total financial turn over in respect of Civil Engineering works of an amount not less than the amount put to tender during any 3 (three) financial years taken together of the last proceeding five financial years. The bidder needs to provide information on works for which bids have been finalized in their favor and works that are yet to be completed, including description of work, place and state, contract number and date, name and address of employer, value of contract, stipulated period of completion, value of work already executed, and value of works remaining to be completed. The bidder should have experience in similar nature and volume of work over the last five years from the date of receipt of this bid. A certificate from the Engineer-in-Charge is required for the similar nature of work executed, including the year-wise value of work done. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, and B is the value of current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next year. The bidder's annual turnover certificate from a chartered accountant for the last five financial years is also required, with a break-up of civil works and total works for each financial year. The bidder should have executed civil engineering works with a maximum updated value during the last 5 years, considering the escalation factor, and should not have abandoned any work of similar nature nor should their contract have been rescinded during the last five years. The required percentage of similar works completed is 75% for the estimated cost, and the bidder should have a total financial turnover of an amount not less than the amount put to tender. The value of work executed by the applicant shall be updated to the current price level using an escalation factor.
