The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a list of similar nature of projects in progress. The bidder needs to provide information about the name of the employer, name of location and name of work, contract price in Indian Rupees, items of works, date of starting the work, stipulated date of completion, and revised target date of completion. The bidder should meet the requirement of completion or substantial completion of at least one similar nature of works during the last 5 years from the Base Year. The major items in similar nature of work are DBM / BM / BC / SDBC. The bidder should have completed or substantially completed one work of Rs.310.09 lakh (excluding GST), which is 30% of the estimated cost. The completion certificate should contain information such as the name of the work, agreement amount excluding GST, major items of work with quantity executed, date of commencement, stipulated date of completion, and actual date of completion or substantial completion. The bidder should furnish the list of such similar nature of works in Schedule-D1, duly certified by Engineer in charge not below the rank of Executive Engineer. Substantial completion means the project is fit for its intended use. Substantial completion in case of road projects is completion of the carriage way, shoulder, CD structures and safety measures. Substantial completion in case of bridge projects is completion of the bridge proper with, approach road and safety measures. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in projects that are similar in nature to the work being tendered. Specifically, the bidder must provide a list of projects executed that are similar in nature to the work and must have a minimum annual turnover. The bidder must also provide information on their bid capacity, which includes the total value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years, with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant. The value of similar works completed is Rs.310.09 lakh (excluding GST) and the percentage is 30% of the estimated cost.
