The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the execution of projects similar in nature to the work. The bidder is required to furnish a list of projects executed that are similar in nature to the work. The bidder should have completion or substantial completion of at least one similar nature of work during the last 5 years from the Base Year. The similar nature of work should have a value of at least Rs. 306.25 lakh (excluding GST), which is 30% of the estimated cost. The major items in similar nature of work include DBM / BM / BC / SDBC. The bidder should furnish a list of such similar nature of works, duly certified by an Engineer in charge not below the rank of Executive Engineer. The value of work executed by the Applicant shall be updated to the current price level using the escalation factor. The bidder should also meet the minimum requirement of annual turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil construction works only. The minimum annual turnover is Rs.1020.83 lakh (excluding GST) for civil construction works, which is 200% of the annual current price level. The bidder should have a bid capacity that is more than the estimated cost of the work, calculated as Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of works executed in any one year, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B is the value at the current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the stipulated period. The percentage of similar works completed is 30% of the estimated cost, which is Rs.306.25 lakh (excluding GST).
