The bidder is required to have prior work experience of a similar nature and volume over the last five years from the date of receipt of the bid. The bidder should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost, put to tender during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed as a prime contractor, including the project name, employer, description of work, value of contract, and year-wise value of work done. The bidder should have experience of executing civil engineering works, with the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years being updated to the current price level, considering a 10 percent per year escalation factor. The value of work already executed and the value of works remaining to be completed should be provided, but the exact percentage of similar works completed is not specified, except for the 75% requirement. The bidder should attach a certificate from the Engineer-in-Charge, not below the rank of Executive Engineer, for the similar nature and volume of work executed over the last five years. The bidder should have the total financial turn over in respect of Civil Engineering works of an amount not less than the amount put to tender during any 3 (three) financial years taken together of the last proceeding five financial years. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total estimated cost of the works. The value of existing commitments and ongoing works (B) should be furnished in a specific format, and the statement should be countersigned by the Engineer-in-Charge. The bidder's experience and resources should be sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for individual contracts.
