The required prior work experience for the bidder includes similar nature and volume of work over the last five years. The bidder should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost, put to tender during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. The value of work executed by the applicant shall be updated to current price level using escalation factor. The bidder should have the total financial turn over in respect of Civil Engineering works of an amount not less than the amount put to tender during any 3 financial years taken together of the last proceeding five financial years. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in executing civil engineering works, with a maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level considering a 10 percent per year escalation factor. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the assessed available bid capacity formula: (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B is the value of current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works. The bidder needs to furnish details of work performed as a prime contractor, including the project name, employer, description of work, value of contract, and year-wise value of work done, along with a certificate from the Engineer-in-Charge. The bidder should also provide information on the work in hand and annual turnover certificate from a Chartered Accountant for the last five financial years. The percentage of similar works completed is 75% of the estimated cost. The amount of similar works completed should be updated to the current price level using the escalation factor, which ranges from 1.10 to 1.61 depending on the year of completion.
