The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost put to tender for road and bridge works separately during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. This means the bidder should have completed road works worth 75% of Rs. 628.48 Lakhs (which is Rs. 471.36 Lakhs) and bridge works worth 75% of Rs. 248.25 Lakhs (which is Rs. 186.19 Lakhs) in the last five years. The value of similar works completed is Rs. 471.36 Lakhs for road works and Rs. 186.19 Lakhs for bridge works, which is 75% of the estimated cost of the works. The percentage of similar works completed is 75% of the estimated cost of the works. The bidder's available bid capacity at the expected time of bidding should be more than the total estimated cost of the works, calculated as: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2 - B), where A = Maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, B = Value of current price level of the existing commitments & ongoing works to be completed during the next years, and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited.
