The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have achieved, in any one year, a minimum financial turnover equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid if the amount is Rs. 200 lakhs or less, and 75% of the amount put to bid if it is more than Rs. 200 lakhs, with at least 50% of the turnover being from civil engineering construction works. In Naxal/Left Wing Extremist affected districts, the figure of 75% is replaced by 50%. The bidder is required to have prior work experience of construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, with a total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years.
