The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar work as a prime contractor. In the case of a single prime contractor, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 433.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. For a joint venture, the bidder or their identified sub-contractor should have completed similar work of value not less than Rs. 173.00 Lakhs for drilling of deep bore wells and Rs. 260.00 Lakhs for electrical works, which are 40% and 60% of the value mentioned for the single prime contractor, respectively. The bidder should have completed at least 80% of the original contract value of similar composite work, including drilling, energization, and commissioning. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The qualifying quantity can be calculated as 0.4 x (estimated quantity of work) x 12 months/period of completion. For example, if the estimated quantity of work is 350 nos bore well and the period of completion is 6 months, the minimum quantity required to qualify is 0.4 x 350 x 12/6 = 280 nos bore well. Additionally, the bidder should have working capital requirement of not less than 20% of the amount put to tender, and the liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities should be no less than Rs. 216.00 Lakhs. A weightage of 10% per year will be given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should also have experience in similar works, and the experience should be supported by a certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer or any other competent authority. The bidder should have completed similar works in the last 5 years, from 2019-20 to 2023-24.
