The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar work of value not less than Rs. 400.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. In case of a joint venture, the bidder or their identified sub-contractor should have completed similar work of value not less than Rs. 160.00 Lakhs for drilling of deep bore wells, and not less than Rs. 240.00 Lakhs for electrical works, which are 40% and 60% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor, respectively. The bidder should have completed at least 80% of the original contract value of similar work. A weightage of 10% per year is given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. For example, if the estimated quantity of work is 316 nos bore well, the minimum quantity required to qualify would be 0.4 x 316 x 12/6 = 253 Nos BW. The bidder is required to furnish work experience for the last 5 years, supported by a certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer or any other competent authority.
