The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar work, which is a composite work of drilling, energisation, and commissioning. In the case of a single prime contractor, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 511.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. In the case of a joint venture, the bidder or their identified sub-contractor should have satisfactorily completed similar work of value not less than Rs. 204.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the value mentioned above, and also executed similar electrical works of value not less than Rs. 307.00 Lakhs, which is 60% of the value mentioned above. The bidder should have completed at least 80% of the original contract value of similar work. A weightage of 10% per year shall be given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The qualifying quantity can be calculated as 0.4 x (estimated quantity of work) x 12 months/period of completion. Additionally, the bidder's work experience for the last 5 years should be supported by a certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer or any other competent authority. The bidder should also have a minimum working capital requirement of 20% of the amount put to tender, which is Rs. 255.00 Lakhs.
