The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar work of value not less than Rs. 511.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. In case of a joint venture, the bidder or their identified sub-contractor should have completed similar work of value not less than Rs. 204.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the value mentioned above, and should also possess a valid electrical license and have executed similar electrical works of value not less than Rs. 307.00 Lakhs, which is 60% of the value mentioned above. The bidder should have completed at least 80% of the original contract value of similar work. Additionally, the bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The qualifying quantity can be calculated as 0.4 x (estimated quantity of work) x 12 months/period of completion. The bidder should have completed similar works in the last 5 years, with a weightage of 10% per year given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level.
