In the case of a joint venture, the bidder or its identified sub-contractor should have completed similar work of drilling of deep bore wells for irrigation/Rural water supply in Government programmes with a value of at least Rs. 149.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor, and possessed a valid electrical license and executed similar electrical works towards erection of HT and LT distribution systems and distribution sub-stations for rural electrification/Irrigation project electrification in Government programmes with a value of at least Rs. 223.00 Lakhs, which is 60% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The qualifying quantity can be calculated as 0.4 x (estimated quantity of work) x 12 months/period of completion. A weightage of 10% per year is given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. Failure to submit proof in support will result in non-consideration of the tender. The bidder should also have a minimum working capital requirement of 20% of the amount put to tender, with a minimum of Rs. 186.00 Lakhs. The bidder is required to have experience in similar major items of work, and they must furnish evidence of ownership of rigs and ancillaries for the work they are bidding on.
