The bidder should have work experience of a similar nature for the last seven years. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to each of Rs. 1.96 Cr. - Two similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to each of Rs. 2.45 Cr. - One similar completed work costing not less than an amount equal to Rs. 3.92 Cr. The similar work constitutes experience in operation and maintenance / construction of four / six lanes highway for O & M contracts, whereas for special repairs / renewal work contracts, similar work constitutes experience of bituminous work on 2/4/6 lane highway. An escalation factor is provided to bring the value of such completed works to the level of the current financial year, with multiplying factors ranging from 1.10 to 1.95 for works completed in the last seven years. The bidder should have completed at least 75% of the value of indented work in any 3 indents issued by the Engineer. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last seven years, with certificates from the concerned officer of the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder should have experience in similar works for the last seven years.
