The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in construction works, with specific requirements for different categories of projects. For Categories 1 and 2, the bidder should have experience in projects with an estimated capital cost exceeding a certain amount. The capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should have held at least 26% equity in the company owning the project during the entire year for which experience is being claimed. For Categories 3 and 4, the bidder should have received payments from clients for construction works executed, fully or partially, or work executed and certified by the Engineer-in-charge/Independent Engineer/Authority's Engineer during the 5 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date. The amounts received should be at least 5% of the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should have undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects, excluding any part of the project for which any contractor, sub-contractor or other agent was appointed for the purposes of construction. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The total estimated capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost. - The bidder should have received payments of at least 5% of the Estimated Project Cost for construction works executed. - The bidder should have undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects. - The bidder should have held at least 26% equity in the company owning the project during the entire year for which experience is being claimed. - One similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. - The project cost for similar projects should be at least 20% of the Estimated Project Cost, and more than 90% of the value of work should have been completed. - The sum total of payments received for construction of Eligible Project(s) or construction works undertaken by itself in a PPP project should be more than Rs.3.46 Crore. - For Stand-alone specialized projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar project in the last 10 financial years, with a cost of at least 20% of the Estimated Project Cost.
