5. Commissioning test as required will be conducted at work site and inspected by rep deputed by the Accepting officer.

"TESTING: Testing and commissioning of STP will include testing of all electro-mechanical equipments, treated effluent parameters for treatment of the sewage, etc starting from collection chamber to outlet of tertiary treatment plant. (i) The plant shall be run continuously for minimum 72 hours. Test will be carried out in the presence of GE and Engineer-in-Charge, Contractor/rep of contractor and Rep of OEM. Contractor shall deploy adequate technical staff to operate the plant continuously for 72 hours and he shall be liable to carry out all the maintenance / rectification required during this period . (ii) The contractor shall afford all facilities and make all necessary arrangements for these tests at his own cost. All arrangements including various instruments required to facilitate testing shall be arranged by contractor.
(iii) If the test results are not acceptable, all repairs and replacement and extra work of removal and relaying or refixing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own expense and the STP plant will be retested, until test results indicate compliance with the prescribed requirement.
