CONSULTANCY FOR STRUCTURAL/ARCHITECTURAL DRGS, DESIGN & BOQ (a) Consultant shall provide complete architectural drawings (plan, elevation, section and schedule of finishes) of building. The drawings will cover detailed working drawings to minutes details with referance to technical, architectural and functional requirements in soft and hard copy for Construction of Lab of size 7.0m x 10.60m single storey. (b) Consultant shall provide structural design of building, section, typical details or any minor details required for execeution and associated elements based on approved architectural plans given by the department complete in all respect of contract action and execution as per standard engineering practice for Construction of Lab of size 7.0m x 10.60m single storey.

Consultant shall also provide structural design based on the follwing aspects :- (a) Structural design will be prepared based on structural analysis as per sound engineering practice and as per standard provisions of IS 875, IS 456 :2000, IS 1893:2016 and IS 13920, NBC and other relevant/ applicable codes and special publications as applicable on date. Structural design should be based on the soil condition of the area. (b) The structure shall be designed for earthquake loading as per IS 1893:2016 (c) RCC building shall be designed as RCC frame structure with M-30 concrete and reinforcement shall be Fe 500/Fe 500D/600D for main and secondary reiforcement including stirrups. However RCC M-30 shall be specified for water structures. All RCC work shall be done as per IS 456 : 2000 and reinforcement shall be specified as per IS 1786 : 2008. Steel members/ element shall be designed as per latest revisions of IS 800. Foundation design, if required as piles than pile & pile caps shall be designed with M-30 Design Mix concrete.

(d) The structural design calculations and drgs shall be vetted by Govt Engineering college/NIT. (e) The consultant shall submit following in soft as well as in hard copy :- (i) All structural drawings including the details of expansion joints, if any, as well as print copy duly vetted. (ii) All design folder & drawings should have the following certificate from the checking/vetting agency "It is certified that the design and detailing are complying all the requirements of relevant Indian Standards including seismic codes and special publication provisions. Accordingly, the Structural design folder and drawings are vetted for its compliance of codal provisions and structural soundness." (iii) The consultant and vetting authority shall ink sign on each and every page of the design papers/ folder and drawings as a token of confirmation/ authentication. (iv) Design drgs shall be submitted with 04 set hard copies and one set tracing, and two sets of design folder including one soft copy of all details. (v) Consulting agency shall also provide requisite assistance, clarification, amendments and support if necessary during execution of work to completion of work as and when issue is referred to him.
