Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge:

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge:

In cement mortar.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 Cement : 1.5 coarse sand (Zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

"Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. "

All works up to plinth level: Concrete of M30 grade with minimum cement content of 350 kg /cum

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level:

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars.

Carriage of lime, moorum, building rubbish and debris including refractory / insulation debris etc. by mechanical transport for following leads or part thereof including loading, unloading and stacking all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (The rates will be applicable to net quantities after deduction of 20 percent for voids):

Upto a lead of 1 km.

Lead beyond 1 km but upto 2 km.

Lead beyond 2 km but upto 3 km.

ACID RESISTANT BRICKS: Providing and fixing acid resistant 75mm thick bricks conforming to IS:4860 of approved make in flooring/ dado/ skirting/ pits etc. The acid resistant bricks shall be laid over one coat of approved quality anti-corrosion priming paint and 10mm thick approved make bitumen mastic layer. The acid resistant bricks shall be fixed with acid proof silicate based mortar (in proportion 3S:1K as per IS:4441) spread on back of bricks and joints (ranging from 4 to 6mm in thickness) shall be raked to a minimum depth of 18mm. The joints shall be flushed with acid resistant Furacin based mortar (in proportion 3 parts Furacin powder :1 part Furacin mortar as per IS:4443) of approved make and curing/ neutralizing of the joints shall be accoplished by Furen resin, all complete as per specifications, relevant IS codes and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying A.R. brick lining consisting of AR brick class I as per IS: 4860 ,230x115x38 mm thick with 10 mm potassium silicate cement bedding & 6 mm width phenolic cement pointing for 10mm depth including all tools, tackles, scaffolding and labour complete in all respect as per direction of engineer incharge.

Providing and fixing 10mm thick acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour using acid and/or alkali resisting mortar bedding and joints filled with acid and/or alkali resisting cement as per IS : 4457 complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge:

In flooring on a bed of 10 mm thick mortar 1:4 (1 acid proof cement : 4 coarse sand) - Acid and alkali resistant tile.

In dado/skirting on 12 mm thick mortar 1:4 (1 acid proof cement : 4 coarse sand) - Acid and alkali resistant tile.

Preparing the RCC surface in floor, foundations, drains, walls, chajjas, terraces, sunken slabs, septic tank, pits, raft slab etc including removal of existing FRP membrane/ screeding/ acid brick tiles etc and thoroughly cleaning the surface with wire brush etc. followed by power washing for making the surface absolutely free from any foreign particles like dust, oil, grease etc.The item rate includes supply of consumeables, tools, tackles and manpower required for completion of job as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Providing and laying priming coat of Foscroc Nitoprime 25 or approved equivalent as per manufacturer's specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying a High strength, abrasion - resistance epoxy reinstatement mortar like Fosroc Nitomortar S or of Demech Chemicals or equivalent, on the prepared concrete surface at a minimum thickness of 5mm or a directed by EIC. The cured mortar shall achieve a compressive strength of 60 N/mm2, a flexural strength of 20 N/mm2 and a tensile strength of 10 N/mm2 when tested at 7 days as per BS 6319 and ASTM C 307. The epoxy lining mortar should have high chemical resistance against wide range of chemicals. (Rate Ref: Enclosed quotation)

Providing and applying a High chemical resistant Epoxy Novolac protective lining like Fosroc nitocote EN 901 or Chemguard of M/s Demech Chemicals or equivalent over the prepared concrete and steel surface at a thickness of 500 micron in two coats. Cost inclusive of glass fibre cloth to be laid in between the two coat. The cured film should have Tensile strength 30 N/mm², Elongation 3%, flexure strength 45 N/mm²,Compresive strength 95 N/mm².The protective coating system should have high chemical resistance against wide range of chemicals.
