CABLE LAYING ON TRAYS / STRUCTURES : Horizontal and vertical laying of different instrument cables (Signal / Power / Control / Alarm / Thermocouple / RTD etc.) of different sizes and types (armoured/ unarmoured) in cable "trays/ wall and steel structures upto any height , fixing of " galvanized clamps and screws for fixing cables on to the trays/ "structures etc., providing aluminium cable tags at both the ends " "of the cable, testing and transportation from stores to site, " "unpacking, straightening, dressing of cable & returning the empty " "drums with unused cable, if any to stores complete with labour " "and materials as per the drawings, specifications and directions " of the engineer-in-charge. NOTE : Cables will be supplied by owner free of cost.

NOTE: Cables will be supplied by the Owner free of cost.

NOTE: Cables will be supplied by the Owner free of cost.

TEMPORARY CABLE LAYING ON SURFACE Temporary laying and fixing of LT power/control/telephone cables on surface as required including carriage, handling, testing, cutting, sealing, fixing with clamps / cleats etc., transporation of cable from stores to site and returning the empty drum with unused cable, if any, to stores etc. all complete with labour and materials as per the drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: 1) Cables will be supplied by the Owner free of cost.

CABLE DISMANTLING / PULL OUT Dismantling/pulling out the LT/HT, PVC/XLPE, power/ control/ telephone/ computer, armoured/ unarmoured cables of various voltage grades/types/ sizes / makes from the trench (upto 1.5 metres deep) / pipes / structures / racks or trays, rolling it into empty cable drums, returning the filled up cable drums to the store/ another site including transportation of empty cable drums from stores to site and filled up cable drums from site to stores/another site, etc. including cutting of cables at joints/ termination, dismantling of clamps etc. all complete with labour and materials as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

GI PIPE LAYING (INCLUDING COST OF PIPE) Providing and laying medium quality, Class-B galvanised steel pipes of Tata / Jindal or approved equivalent make conforming to IS-1239 [Part-I] in underground trenches, on steel, concrete or similar structures including cutting, threading, bending, supply & installation of supports, clamps, small iron structures, spacer, seats, plugs, bush, fittings / fixtures like bends, tees, nipples, reducers etc. all complete as per specification, drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Item includes sealing of pipe ends & joints with bushes and bitumen based fillings and such other miscellaneous works so as to make piping water tight.

SUPPLYING AND FIXING OF GI ROUTE MARKER Suppplying cable route marker with 10 cm x 10 cm x 5 mm thick GI plate with inscription thereon, bolted/ welded to 35 mm x 35 mm x 6 mm angle iron, 60cm long and fixing the same in ground as required. Job includes painting with one coat of redoxide and finishing paint.

EXCAVATION OF EARTH FOR CABLE / PIPE LAYING FOR ELECTRICAL WORK Excavation of earth for cable trenches / laying of G.I. pipes for cable work in all types of soils including saturated soil upto a max. depth of 1.5 metres including shoring, strutting and bailing out of water (if necessary), backfilling and compacting in layers not exceeding 20 cm. thick to the finished ground level and disposal and dressing of excess earth within a lead of 50 metres all complete with labour and materials as per standards, drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Cutting road and making good the same including supply of extra quantities of materials i.e. aggregate, moorum screening, red bajri and labour required:

SHIFTING OF PANEL/ MOTOR/ EQUIPMENT Transportation from the store to the site or from worksite to worksite within battery area or within township of panel, motor and any other equipment alongwith all necessory accessories without any damage. All complete with labour, materials, necessary tools/ tackles and shifting vehical/ mode as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Unit shall be read as EACH in place of TON

Small equipment requiring tractor trailer but not requiring crane / hydra etc. (beyond 100 kg.) Unit shall be read as EACH in place of TON

REMOVAL OF RCC SLAB UPTO 150 MM THICK Removal of RCC slab upto 150 mm thick and of any size placed above the cable trench, handling carefully without any damage of the slab and cable beneath it and keeping it back in position after laying / removing the cable and sealing the same between RCC covers with cement & sand. job complete in all respect with labours and materials and as per direction of engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge:

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (Zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

SUPPLY & FIXING OF MISC MOSAIC WIRING ACCESSORIES Supply, fixing and connection of 250 V below given mosaic wiring accessories of M/s MDS or approved equivalent inlcuding supplying and fixing of nuts, bolts, etc. complete with labour and materials as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

OTDR (Optical time-domain reflectometer) Testing of OFC "Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) should be calibrated for the index of refraction of the fiber to be tested. Attenuation shall not exceed 0.56dB/kms at 1310 nm and 0.40dB/kms at 1550 nm and no discontinuities greater than 0.1dB over a distance of less than 300 feet shall be allowed. OTDR repots/ traces clearly annotating each splice and the measured loss, shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge for review and approval. The Contractor shall report any discontinuities greater than those specified for the fiber."

OFC Cable- OFC Cable- Fusion Splicing Including supply of 1.5 meter SMF/MMF (Single mode/Multimode Optical Fiber) Pigtail "General Requirements:- Each fibres shall be spliced by the fusion method. Splice loss shall not exceed a bi-directional average of 0.10 dB per splice for a complete fiber run or a maximum of 0.15 dB bidirectional averages for any single splice at 1310 and 1550 nanometers. At least one and one-half revolutions of the splice tray of fiber shall be left on each end of fiber after splicing. Splice Materials: At each splice point splice organizer trays/junction box shall be provided to contain and protect the bare fibers and splices. The splice trays shall be layered above the transition/storage compartment and shall be easily slipped into place on two studs and secured with a hold down strap. Each tray shall be made of injection-molded plastic and have a hinged clear plastic cover for maximum fiber protection that allows for visible inspection of the fibers. All splices shall be protected with a heat-shrink sleeve containing protective sleeve and housing. No more than 12 splices shall be placed in one tray unless the engineer approves any changes."
