The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the similar nature of work. The bidder should submit the work completion certificate with a clear cut completed/paid value of the similar nature of work. For the bidder, the required prior work experience can be summarized as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs.50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The similar work should be completed with a value of at least 35% of the work to be subletted. The mentioned values and percentages of similar works completed are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - Rs.50 lakh (for subletting work)
