M & L for Lighting conductor of Air terminal , single pointed ,copper rod 12mm dia and 300 mm long completed all as specified and as directed.

M & L for test point teminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25 mm ,drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8 mm 25 mm long hexgonal Head screw completed all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Copper strip 25 x 3.15mm to be fix on top of "V" type porcelain insulator or DMC insulator of suitable size and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 3.15 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with the top edge not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20 X 3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of steel and other end connected to earthing test point including funnel, watering pipe of 40 mm bore, light grade GI pipe, wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layers all around the earth electrode compacted thickness 15 cm, earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, 50 mm thick pre-cast RCC cover slab (1:2:4) type B1 set in CM (1:4), reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c and suitable handle of 10 mm dia MS round bars including earth work in excavation in soft/loose soil, disposal of soil not exc. 50 meter complete and testing on completion all as shown in electrical plate No-3 of MES schedule, part-I including dismantling of old earthing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES 1). The unit rate include copper strip from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level.
