Notes for item Nos. 27 & 28: (i) Old / unserviceable electric meters taken down shall be deposited at MES store including all loading, unloading, carting, etc. and rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of all loading/unloading and carting, etc. as required (ii) Energy meter shall be of makes as stipulated hereinafter (iii) Meters shall be tested for performance as per relevant IS

M&L for submain wring using proper colour coding with 2 runs of single core, PVC insulated, FRLS unsheathed suitable for 1100V, multistranded, copper conducter cable of size 4sqmm and 1 run of 4sqmm multistranded, copper conductor cable 1100V green colour for earth conductor drawn through and including PVC casing capping 25mm wide, heavy duty, ISI marked fixed on wall/ceiling, etc. with all required accessories including taking down old sub-main wiring any type complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) 2 runs of 4sqmm main cable, 1 run of earth conductors and 1 run of PVC casing capping as per item shall be measured as one length (ii) Separate casing capping shall be used for each sub-main wiring circuit irrespective of numbers of wire (iii) The minimum size of casing shall be as stipulated, however higher sizes shall be used as per number of cables passing through. The Engineer-in-charge shall ensure for proper size of conduit as per requirement at site
