Material and labour for cleaning of semi underground RCC sumps (Fire fighting sump) of 1 Nos of 50,000 Ltr capacity, cleaning of tank to be done one times by blocking the inlet valve, taking out the deposited silt, mud, sand etc by means of mannualy / mechanically (to a distance n.exc 50 Mtr from site where directed), scrapping the entire inner area of the sump with wire brushes to remove scales / deposition from the walls / floor and ceiling surfaces, and removing from site to a distance n.exc 50 Mtr, washing with bleaching powder (not less than 15 Kg per sump), washing the walls / floor / ceiling with fresh water, and normalising the water system by opening the inlet valve after allowing sufficient drying time,stenciling cleaning date on wall (using black/white paint) complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for arresting leakages in semi underground sump with the following step :-
(i) Excavation around the sump and identify the leakages/ seepage portion of the Semi underground sump and cutting the construction joint in "V" shaped grooves.
(ii) Drilling hole in the Honey Comb portion.
(iii) Patching the entire V shaped grooves with cement, admix and quick setting compound.
(iv) Next step is grouting to be done with intraplast EP - a free flowing grout mix (During all threse operation tank must be fill with water.
(v) Fixing of PVC nozzle for grouting with quick setting compound admix with cement, Inject the cement mixture with intraplast EP throught the nozzle by high pressure inject pump.
Note : Only excavation, returning filling and removing of surplus soil shall be measured and paid under respective item of BOQ. During excavation any damages to be existing infrastructure (i.e pipe , wall etc) to be repaired/ replced by the contractor by his own cost.
