Material and labour for excavating in trenches not exc 1.50 mtr wide and not exc 1.50 mtr in depth for taking out/laying of under ground cable, pole or stay and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : The top of filled trench shall be made proud by using the excavated soil to cater for subsequent settlement of soil.

Removing excavated materials (soils) not exc 50.00mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 mtr above the starting point in soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling for dry sand in cable protection trenches before and after the cables are laid, for sand cushioning to cables complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : thickness after punning of sand shall be (minimum as specified in SSR) measured and paid in this item.

Labour for boring under road, manually suitable for inserting 100 mm bore pipe at a depth 0.5 mtr to 1.0 mtr and not exceeding 10 mtr in a single length complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for brick protection for UG XLPE cable with burnt clay old size sub class 'B' bricks laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not more than 10mm and width equal to length of brick in trenches across the cable complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Make: Best quality locally available which is duly approved by GE.

Relaying of bricks laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not more than 10 mm and width equal to length of brick in trenches across the cable complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Old good quality bricks shall be used which was obtained during taking out unserviceable UG cables.

Material and labour for cutting the road/hard standing and making good disturbed surface by using PCC type C2 (1:3:6) by using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate for the fixing the pipe complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge at site.

Material and labour for repairing LT panels/ LT feeder pillar box (Bus-bar system) with dismantling of bus-bar strips 4 Nos from insulators & disconnect/removing all incoming/outgoing cables/wires connections from bus-bar, change over etc, welding of sheet metal enclosure as required. Dressing/cleaning of bus-bar strips for removing sulphating, carbonisation, scales, dirt etc. Thoroughly, re-mounting on insulators rigidly, wrapping up of PVC insulation tape entirely over the bus-bar strips maintaining red, yellow, blue for phase & black for neutral. Dressing up of all incoming/outgoing cables/wires with replacement of aluminium cable lugs nuts/bolts properly crimpling/socket ting, re-fixing the cable glands (duly dressing of cable armoured) for all incoming/outgoing cables, change over etc. all as directed & specified by the Engr-in-Charge of following sizes:-

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning CPRI approved outdoor cubical type LT feeder pillar box suitable for 415V, 3 phase , 4 wire 50 Hz, AC supply system fabricated outer shell from MS sheet 3.15 mm thick and MS angle of size 50 mm x50 mm x6 mm frame front and back openable single door system lockable /openable by keys from both sides having lock system totally enclsoed dust, weather & vermin proof having and inner shell 2mm thick made of MS sheet compartmentlised for each control gear front openable single door system lockable/openable by keys having louvers and air vent gaskets for natural flow of Air. 'U' type gasket shall be used to make the inner shell completely vermin proof and to accomodate incommer/outgoing MCCBs and TPN copper busbars of rating 1.5 times that of controlling MCCB. TPN busbar and extension link shall be insulated with color coded heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on suitable size SMC insulator at suitable inteval throghout the length of TPN busbar. supported on SMC insulator, bottom base channel of MS section not less than 100mm x50mm x5mm thick, entire panel shall have a common aluminium earth bar of size 25mm x 5mm at the rear with 2 Nos earth stud, solid connections from main bus bar to switchgears with required size of copper bus bars. All control wiring with minimum 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor cable, cable alleys, cable gland, plates in two half and general construction confirming to IS:8623/93. Computer cut self adhesive vinyl danger notice plate having conventional symbol of bone & skull be provided on the busbar chamber and front of outer shell and The degree of protection of outer shell shall be IP-54 and mounted on suitable PCC foundation. A detechable pre drilled gland plate of thickness 3mm should be used at bottom shell. Provision of threaded earthing stud at bottom & lifting lugs of suitable size at top to lift the feeder pillat box safely shall be made. Indicating lamps LED type, 230volts, AC at the incomer of the unit to show three phase availability at the outgoing of incomer including tamper proof digital meter to measure voltage, current with CT & PT (Make- Secure/L&T/HPL/Schneider). An inspection lamp with 5 watt LED bulb shall be fitted on top side of inner shell. The degree of protection for inner shell shall be IP-42 & including carry the following controls :- Note: Contractor shall be submit feeder pillar box drawing before placing order and approved from GE.

Material and labour for digging of old chemical earthing pit (as directed by OEM/Engr-in-Charge) upto a level of 1.5 Mtr and filling of BARON Back filling compound(conductolite) or equiv chemical compound for improving the earthing result and testing after jointing in test terinal as specified and refilling / making good the disturbed earth pit as specified and directed .

Supply only chemical i.e. ground enhancing compound (GEC) in bag of 25 Kg BARON Back Fill Compound (Conductolite) each complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for adding salt in the ratio of 1:3 (as directed by Engr-in-charge minimum salt 8 kg) to each conventional earth pit and repairing the damaged earth pit cover after excavating the surface if required and making good,connecting it to earth test point.measuring the value and fixing funnel in repair as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for digging and filling in existing earthpits by charcoal and common commercial salt in alternate layer around the earth plate electrode in addition to existing(Charcoal 50 Kg & salt 25 Kg minimum) all as shown IN electrical plats No. 3 on page 497 of SSR Part-I and repairing the damaged earth pit cover after excavating the surface if required and making good,connecting it to earth test point.measuring the value and fixing funnel in repair as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and filling in existing earthpits by magnesium sulphate powder around the earth electrode complete all as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable galvanised iron earth strip and Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor of 32 mm x6mm galvanised iron earth strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, complete all as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable copper earth strip and Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor of 20 mm x3 mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, complete all as directed.

Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required earthing galvanised wire 4.00 MM
