Material and labour for earthing with copper earth plate electrode 60 cm X 60 cm X 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to 20 mm x 3 mm thick copper strip protected by 40 mm bore light grade galvanised iron pipe and other end connected to test point as directed including funnel with wire mesh and watering pipe 20 mm bore medium grade galvanised iron pipe with charcoal and common salt in alternaterlayers of 15 cm thickness all around the copper plate electrode with concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 with cast iron frame including cast iron cover10mm thick hinged to CI frame and 8mm MS rod for handle including painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and put number marked with GI plate above 45 cm from ground level as per colour code in AF station, necessary excavation and earth wok in soft/loose soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I including taking out old earthing all as specified. Note: (i) The cost of copper strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of excavation, earth work are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Taking down old u/s copper/GI/aluminium strip of any size.

Material and labour fopr Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 mm x 3 mm copper strip using porcelain clit/post insulator including brazing if required complete all as specified.

All as per Item No 13 but galvanized iron strip size 25 mm x 4 mm.

Material and labour for cable junction box with IP 66 protection (halogen free and weather proof) for outdoor installations of size 98 mm x 98 mm x 61 mm with terminals for covering Gun Metal used for earthing all as specified or directed. Make Hensel / C & S Electric Ltd./ ELS Spelsberg

Material and labour for earth pit display boards made of FRP (Fibre Reinforced polymer) of size 210 mm x 297 mm having suitable plate thickness 2 mm having rectangular shape and connected with angle iron of 25 mm x 25 mm x 3 mm alongwith support height 2' duly painted consisting of (i) earth pit number (ii) connected to tested date (iii) ohmic value (iv) due date for measurement shall be written in earthing Display board with Earthing sign should be Green colour and other specifications shall be in specified blue colour complete all as per manufacturer instruction and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Materila and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm crushed stone aggregates as in PCC/ Road cutting/ installation area and foundation pole etc. complete all as specified.

Material and labour for brazing/ gas welding for existing copper earthing strip joints by removing nuts and bolts complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for brazing/ gas welding for existing galvanised earthing strip joints by removing nuts and bolts complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and fix as in repair low density polyethylene pipes (LDPE) of 40 mm dia with pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 for insulation of earth strip from building at entry points fixed complete to walls, ceilings or in floors etc. complete all as specified.

Material and labour for air termination, single pointed, aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and fixed the location as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
