Material and labour for periodical Servicing Cum overhauling of indoor 11 KV VCB including replacement of necessary minor spares spring nut Bolt etc. making good all the damages ,testing of breaker & control panel including CT, PT and relays in control panel of VCB of capacity 800/630 Amps and rating 11 KV of Make: AREVA complete as details mentioned as under:- (a) Details of servicing /repairing of breaker :- (i) Disconnecting /reconnecting of 11 KV Supply of VCB. (ii) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (iii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iv) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (v) Check for rust and wear. (vi) Check Spring Tension and pitting of the Cluster Contacts. (vii) Visual check for rust and deformation. (viii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (ix) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (x) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (xi) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xii) Check close & trip coil. (xiii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiv) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xvi) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvii) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor Item no 36 contd.... (b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary Injection Test of CT / PT (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles. (iii) IR Test with insulation tester in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (vii) High voltage test.

(viii)Testing of Over current and earth fault numeriacal relay of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit ,checking, programming & coordination of relay as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (ix) Testing of auxilary relays such as DC Supply supervision relay, Master trip relay & etc. Note- New spares required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule. The rates for Nuts, bolts, washers, lugs, thimble, wires and minor items required for efficient and smooth functioning of the equipment shall deemed to be included in the quoted item. Rates for testing equipments and accessories required at site for condcuting above tests shall deemed to be included in quoted rates by contractor.
