Material and labour for preparing of un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre using Paving bitumen VG-10, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing Bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness with with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using Paving bitumen any penetration of Grade VG-30, rolled and compacted to required uniform surface, camber and gradient using 8 to 12 Tonne Power roller, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) The quoted rate shall be worked out on the basis of binder contents (bitumen VG-30) of 5.5% by weight of total mix. (ii) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE with 5.5% VG-30 bitumen by weight of total mix. (iii) The work of Bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete shall be done using HOT MIX PLANT and laying of bituminous premix carpet shall be done using MECHANICAL PAVER only.
