Providing, fitting and fixing full glazed steel casement windows / ventilators as per IS specification, joints mitred and welded with 15mmx3mmx100mm lugs embedded in cement concrete blocks of mix 1:3:6, including providing and fixing of projecting hinges (not more than 65mm and not less than 15mm wide), bolting device, steel handles, stays, curtain hooks etc. complete as directed.

Note-1: The above steel casement window shall of the following parts: a)     The main steel casement window shutter fitted with 4mm thick frosted glass panes openable out side. b)    The steel casement shutter fitted with fly proof GI wire net openable inside. c)     Horizontal square bars (12mmx12mm) welded to the steel casement window. The work also include providing and fixing 4mm thick frosted glass panes, applying 2 coats SE paint over a coat of primer, carefully dismantling of damaged wood work, disposal of old wood work as required etc complete, properly finishing the surrounding surface in cement plaster after fixing of new steel window, painting the plastered surface with matching shade of distemper / weatehershield on the inside / outside of the room, cost of scaffolding etc. at all levels. The work shall include all cost of material, carriage, labour, all taxes etc. complete .

Note-2: General Notes 1.For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 2. All the dismantled /demolished materials shall be dumped at one place as decided by the department within 150mtr lead. 3. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 4. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 5. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc.. 6. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions. EPFO and ESIC contributions are reimbursable on production of valid proof of payment made by the contractor as per CPWD norms.
