M&L for cleaning of inner surfaces of RCC under ground sump / semi under ground sump including floor of water intake sump including floor of water intake sump and applying two coats of white wash after taking out and removing silt, sludge, moss, algae, dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed upto the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge for the following :
(c) Semi under ground sump of capacity 50000 Gallon 3 nos Near Capt Qtr (High Lift Pump House), 01 no KLP Pump House & 01 no at 183 MH. (Each 3 Month) NOTE :
(i) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include draining of water with mechanical equipment and working in water and mud etc.
(ii) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include all safety precautions which shall be taken while working on RCC underground sump/semi under ground sump.
(iii) Lighting arrangements if required to be provided by the contractor temporarily at his own arrangements and the amount quoted for that shall be deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate and electricity / diesel shall not be provided by the Department.
(iv) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to complete the work inside each UG sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users.
(v) The date of cleaning and due date of cleaning must be painted with synthetic enamel paint on the out side of the front tank wall as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Dismantling and strip opening of pumps completely including disconnecting the suction, delivery, vaccum pipe lines and coupling for repairs to pump and refitting/ re-assembling & connecting the same and testing of pumps complete all as specified and directed for the following capacities:- (a) Pump capacity 100HP / 120HP
Note : (i) The rate considered is inclusive of T&P required for carrying out the repairs.
(ii) The rate considered is inclusive of cost towards miscellaneous items such as cotton waste, grease and other consumables. (iii) The rate considered is inclusive of checking of alignment of pump with dial gauge after refitting. (iv) The cost of spares for pump considered separately under appropriate items here-in-after. (v) The rate considered are inclusive of transporting the pumps to Wksp and back to installation site.
