The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed three works, each of ₹ 63,70,244.00 or two works each of ₹ 79,62,805.00 or one work of ₹ 1,27,40,488.00 in a single contract of a similar nature. Substantial completion is based on 80 percent of the awarded cost or more value-wise works completed under the contract. The value of executed works is brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7 percent per annum.
For start-ups and sub-contractors, for repair works estimated at up to ₹ 30 lakhs, the requirements regarding general construction experience and particular construction experience may not be insisted upon, provided the bidders fulfill other criteria regarding financial, personnel, and equipment capabilities. However, no such contractors may be allowed to hold more than 2 contracts under relaxed credentials at any given time.
The bidder's experience certificate should show the nature of work done, the value of work, date of start, date of completion as per agreement, actual date of completion, and satisfactory completion of work. Substantial completion shall be based on 80 percent of the awarded cost or more value-wise works completed under the contract.
In terms of financial requirements, the bidder should have an average annual financial turnover and a minimum net worth, but these are separate from the prior work experience requirements.
