Western Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Each non-lead member of the JV must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed, during the last 07 (seven) years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the tender or 10% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. Additionally, for subcontractors, the following conditions are specified: - The subcontractor should have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. - For subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should also have minimum average annual contractual turnover of [V/N], where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. For tenders having advertised value more than Rs 20 crore, the tenderer will be qualified only if its available bid capacity is equal to or more than the total bid value of the present tender, calculated as Available Bid Capacity = [A x N x 2] - 0.33xNxB. No technical and financial credentials are required for tenders having a value up to Rs 50 lakh.
