The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last 07 (seven) years. The bidder must have completed one of the following categories of work: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of tender. Additionally, the bidder should have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be executed, in the last 5 years. Each other (non-lead) member of the JV must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 07 (seven) years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work. The value of the completed work done by a member in an earlier joint venture (JV) shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. The major component of the work shall be the component of work having the highest value. In cases where the value of two or more components of work is the same, any one work can be classified as the major component of work. The amounts and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of each component of tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of each component of tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be executed for one similar work in the last 5 years - 10% of the cost of any component of work for each non-lead member of the JV.
