The required prior work experience for the bidder includes certificates and testimonials regarding contracting experience for the type of job for which tender is invited, with a list of works carried out in the past. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Each non-lead member of the JV must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 07 years one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The available bid capacity is calculated as: Available Bid Capacity = [A x N x 2] - 0.33xNxB, where A is the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year. For tenders having value up to Rs 50 lakh, no technical and financial credentials are required. The value of a completed work/work in progress/work awarded but yet not started for a Member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. Work experience certificate from private individual shall not be considered, but work experience certificate issued by Public listed company having average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in last 3 financial years, or by Govt. Organization, shall be considered.
