The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works, with specific values and percentages mentioned. To be eligible, the bidder should have completed a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. Alternatively, the bidder can have completed two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender, or three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The estimated cost put to tender is above Rs. 2.0 Crores. The experience can be in the form of: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. The cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder can also meet the eligibility requirement through a combination of works. The required prior work experience for the bidder can be met in the following ways: a) Completion of a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. b) Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. c) Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. Note that the experience of individual partners of the JV will be added together to meet the qualification criteria related to experience. Also, this work experience criteria is not applicable for tenders with an estimated cost value (ECV) below 50 lakhs.
