Item Description/ Heading

Providing and Fixing Soft Fibre Acoustical Suspended Ceiling System with Optra (BevelledTegular) Edge Tiles of size 15mm Exposed Grid. The tiles should have Humidity Resistance (RH) of 95%, NRC 0.9-1.0, Light Reflectance ?85%, ColourWhite, Fire Performance UK Class 0/ Class 1 (BS 476 pt - 6 & 7) inmodule size of 600x600x15mm, suitable for Green Building application, with Recycled content of 66% GW and 74% RW. The tile shall be laid on precoated G.I channel 32 with 15mm wide T-section flanges colour white having rotary stitching on all T sections i.e. the Main Runner, 1200mm and 600mm Cross Tees with a web height of 32 mm and a load carrying capacity of 7 Kilograms/M2 with a minimum pull out strength of 100 Kilograms. The T Sections have a Galvanizing of 90 grams per M2 and need to be installed with Suspension system The Tile and Grid system used together should carry a 10 year warranty. products approved as per GRIHA and BS 476 etc. complete.

ACOUSTICAL WALL PANELLING – FABRIC WRAPPED OF SIZE: 600X600/1200X25 MM Providing and Fixing of Acoustical Wall Panel with square edges made of fibre glass substrate 25mm thick, wrapped on the front side with an acoustically transparent fabric as per the approved shade (Husk, Copper, Sangria, Sesame, Coffee, Charcoal, Titanium, Flame, Peanut and Shell). The panel shall be classified for Fire Class A, as per ASTM E-84. The Acoustical Wall Panel shall be of sizes 600x600mm (Nominal) or 600x1200mm (Nominal) and shall achieve an NRC of 0.85 (Average value of Absorption Co-efficient reading stakenat 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz and 2000Hz) with 50mm airgap as per ASTM C423 to be fixed to wall on a framework of wooden battens and using Wall panel Impalers (supplied by the manufacturer) or by using construction adhesives (as per the instructions laid down by the manufacturer). The fibre glass substrate shall have are cycle content of 85%. Installation: An appropriate vapour barrier (byothers) shall be applied/installed on the vertical surface before the installation to properly seal against entry of any moisture. Vapour barrier (by others) shall be installed as per Manufacturer’s recommendation. Install wooden batten grid (provided by others) of section 50x50mm or as approved by the Architect on the solid wall/partition to provide level and plumb surface. The Impalers shall be fixed to the battens using self-tapping screws, 3nos. in case of 600x600mm and 4nos. in case of 600x1200mm. Silica based construction adhesive (by others) to be dabbed on to the projecting elements (spikes) of the Impalers. Wall Panels shall be pierced through the spikes of the Impalers ensuring the line and level of the panels are maintained
