The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works within the last 7 years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - Completion of a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. In the case of a Joint Venture, the experience of individual partners can be combined to meet the qualification criteria, with options including: - One partner having completed a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Two partners combining to meet the requirement, with at least one partner having completed a work costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender and another partner having completed a work costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The cost of previous completed works will be given a weightage of 5% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder must submit a Satisfactory Work Completion Certificate issued by the employer against the experience of similar work. The lead partner in a Joint Venture shall have at least 50% participating share in the JV.
