The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder's average annual contractual turnover should be a minimum, calculated as the average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. The minimum average annual contractual turnover is V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of rupees, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The bidder should have completed similar works, which include civil work involving RCC work or any type of bridge work, excluding steel work. The value of the completed work is considered as the completion cost of work, which includes the final bill amount, including the PVC amount, if paid. For a subcontractor, the required prior work experience is: - At least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
