The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Given the advertised value of the tender is Rs.24,86,02,651.5, the required prior work experience for the bidder is: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of Rs.24,86,02,651.5, which is Rs.7,45,80,795.45, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of Rs.24,86,02,651.5, which is Rs.9,94,40,986, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of Rs.24,86,02,651.5, which is Rs.14,91,81,591. The similar nature of works includes execution of 25kV/2x25kV Electrification work, feeder wire work, OHE modification work, OHE upgradation work, OHE maintenance work, OHE AMC work, OHE rehabilitation work, OHE replacement work, 66kV or higher voltage overhead Transmission line work, or 66kV or higher voltage Sub-Station work. Additionally, the bidder should have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be done, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience is required. The total value of work to be assigned to subcontractor(s) should not be more than 50% of the total contract value. The substantially completed work should have a payment of at least 90% of the present contract value.
