South Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder involves completing similar works within the last 7 years, with specific criteria including: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The bidder must submit a list of completed works, including details such as description of work, organization, approximate value of contract, and dates. The value of similar works completed is applicable for tender floated values above 50 lakhs. Substantially completed work is defined as an ongoing work where payment equal to or more than 90% of the contract value has been made, and no termination proceedings have been initiated. The bidder is also required to provide an Annual Contractual Turnover Certificate and an Experience Certificate. The definition of similar work includes Steel supply, fabrication & erection, Industrial shed/PF shelter roof sheeting (metal), or steel fencing. The calculation for the minimum average annual contractual turnover is V/N or V, whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited.
