The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last 07 years. The specific requirements are: * Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. * Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. * One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, the requirement is to have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. Note that for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. In terms of values, the amount considered for completion cost of work includes the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid). If the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) is considered as the completion cost of work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) is considered as the cost of substantially completed work.
