South Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. The bidder must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. This turnover is defined as V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The definition of similar work includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Automatic Fire Detection & Alarm System or Automatic Fire Detection Alarm and suppression System in any government organization or PSUs.
