The required prior work experience for the bidder includes providing information about similar type of work carried out, value of civil engineering works done during the last five years, and calculation of Bid Capacity using the value of "A" and other parameters. The bidder should have an experience of successfully completed at least construction of at least one K.T.Weir / G.C.N.B / Water Retaining structure of magnitude Rs. 125.42 lakhs. The cost of similar works should not be less than 30% of tender cost, including Joint Venture of the Agency. The bidder should have successfully executed the following quantities during any one year of previous five years: 1. Excavation - 11662.50 Cum (30% of Tender Quantity) 2. Concrete (in various mix) - 1456.40 Cum 3. Steel - 6.90 MT The amount of similar type of work shall be updated at current rate cost at rate of 10% increase per year from the year of completion. The bidder should also have a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 313.75 Lakhs in any one year from the last five financial years. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - B.E. Civil, with minimum 8 years’ experience with a firm and 5 years’ experience of similar type of works. - Site Engineer (Minimum DCE with 3 yrs.’ Experience) - Supervisory Technical Staff Additionally, specific values and percentages mentioned include: - 90% of the contract rate in R.A. bills for excavated quantities - 100% payment of contract rate in R.A. bills after completion of excavation work between two adjacent cross sections - 125% of the total tendered quantity for certain items, with excess quantities to be distributed in a specified ratio - 75% of the total tendered quantity for certain items, with executed quantities less than this percentage to be treated similarly to other cases - 2% additional security for revised tender cost, if any. The bidder is also required to provide information on their financial soundness, including their bank guarantee, overdraft limit, and debt-to-equity ratio. Preference will be given to those contractors who have previous experience of such type of large works. Joint ventures are admissible only for works more than Rs. 2500 Lakh.
