The bidder should provide information on work performed as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The value of road work completed under a specific program is counted as 120% for assessment purposes. The bid security amount is One lakh forty Thousand Rupees Only, which is 1 percent if the estimated value of the Works is up to Rs 150 Lakhs and 0.5 percent or Rs 1.50 Lakhs, whichever is higher, if the estimated value of the Works is more than Rs 150 Lakhs. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year.
